New Haven’s historic Townsend mansion, assets under deal

NEW HAVEN — The Townsend mansion and its extensive acreage is under contract with a neighborhood East Shore record buff.

Chuck Mascola, president and company growth strategist at Mascola Group, said he and his wife, Marcella, hope to have a closing on the offer in early August.

Very well regarded and energetic in the East Shore local community, Mascola stated he could not go into aspects on the likely use at this level based on an arrangement with the Townshend spouse and children.

The 19th-century mansion and 26 acres went on the sector in June for $2.25 million, drawing hundreds of hits on the Zillow genuine estate site.
