Controversial S.F. immigration decide quits, bashes method

WASHINGTON — An immigration decide in the San Francisco court abruptly quit his article this 7 days, issuing a scathing letter on his retirement expressing stress with the overall court docket program and its U.S. Justice Division management.

Ford explained his supervisors have been “a fearful community whose principal interest has in no way been the advancement of these they oversee but instead their very own ongoing employment.”

Ford, a previous prison court decide in Cook County, Ill., stated he wished to difficulty a “warning” to other immigration judges.

“I am an older judge and it is really hard to understand how any court system can perform like this,” Ford wrote. “These managers I have spoken of from the director to people in management beneath her will not help you. As we applied to say in Chicago ‘they will toss you under the bus in a minute.’ Continue to be on your toes and look at skeptically just about anything they explain to you.”
